Floating silt curtains or turbidity curtains are designed to control and manage sediment flow within water, therefore protecting our water resources from pollution. We only use woven geotextile or PVC curtains supplied and made in the UK by Murlac.
We can produce curtains in a wide range of sizes to suit your contract, and also advice you on the size of mesh you will require to manage sediment flow and at the same time allow water flow.
The curtain consists of a top floatation closed cell foam pocket, and at the bottom, a ballast pocket where chain is used as a ballast weight and anchor.
